Music is by Jambil. The track is called Wonderful World. This is supported by The Cutting Suite
Joao Jesus, 25, an artist native to Lisbon, Portugal, inspired by the likes of conscious artists such as Bob Marley & UB40, inspiring his mission to spread the message of universal love for all humanity and life. Jesus’s years of practicing the art of Capoeira can also be seen as another contributory factor, where he would later develop his writing & style as an artist.
Coming to England aged 15 to further develop his craft, his intentions of spreading this important positive message would not change. This is evident via every song, recording and performance Jesus creates, leading us to the special song depicting an equal and happy world through fairer trading. This simply being entitled ‘Wonderful World’, with lyrics such as; This world is indeed “wonderful” but the way “we have been living” is not at all the best we can, and as such, we, each individual, requires to change our actions even if it is a seemingly small “contribution”. This is exactly what fair trade has been providing over the years: a choice and a chance for people/customers to value their fellow man´s life, and thus providing others the chance to have a dignified life like we all wish to have.
